Nate's Dronography makes the lake appear frozen over, just 30% of the lake is covered by ice, National Weather Service Meteorologist Megan Varcie at the White Lake office said. Varcie said the lake does not usually completely freeze over.

A drone photographer witnessed a remarkable sight when he captured ice covering Lake Michigan “as far as the eye can see” on Wednesday, February 19. Nate’s Dronography captured this footage, and told Storyful it shows the lake after multiple days of freezing temperatures.
