Seven alleged cohorts of dismissed Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo, alias Guo Hua Ping, surrendered to authorities, the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) said on Monday.

THE National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) announced that the seven individuals who are co-accused of Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo in the case of qualified human trafficking she is facing, have surrendered to authorities.

The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) said on Monday that it has in its custody seven of the co-accused of dismissed Bamban, Tarlac mayor Alice Guo in the qualified human trafficking complaint filed before a Pasig City court.

This comes after the Regional Trial Court Branch 167 of Pasig City issued an arrest warrant for Guo and other suspects for qualified trafficking. Guo was initially detained in Camp Crame, Quezon City.

A Pasig City court on Monday ordered to hold in abeyance the transfer of dismissed Bamban, Tarlac mayor Alice Guo to the Pasig City Jail Female Dormitory from the PNP Custodial Center in Camp Crame, Quezon City.

Dismissed Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo will share a detention cell with one of the co-accused of Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, according to the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP).
