The Red Sox have swung their first move of the offseason, signing 37-year-old relief pitcher Justin Wilson after his shaky second stint with the Reds.

The Boston Red Sox are one of the expected heavy hitters for this offseason, and they need help in multiple areas. Their bullpen is one of their biggest concerns, so getting a reliever is a must. This proposed signing would get them their guy, in Tanner Scott, an All-Star reliever, for four years, $60 million.

He is no stranger to late-inning work, having picked up 142 holds and 20 saves in his 12 major league seasons.
