Another Bay Area Safeway is slated to close its doors by the end of the day Friday. The grocery company said it would permanently close its location on Admiral Callaghan Lane in Vallejo, citing ongoing safety issues.

Despite the outcry of the neighborhood over the past year, the Safeway grocery store on Webster Street in the Fillmore neighborhood is officially closing its doors on Friday.

For the second time in recent days, Safeway has announced that one of its grocery stores in the Bay Area will be closing, citing “financial performance and ongoing safety concerns.” More Safeway closures could be on the way,
