BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Mayfair Laboratory School has been named a 2024 National Blue Ribbon School. According to the East Baton Rouge Parish School System, Mayfair was awarded a National Blue Ribbon by the United States Department of Education.

Two Baton Rouge elementary schools — one public, one private – have been named National Blue Ribbon Schools, the nation's highest school honor. Mayfair Lab School, which opened in 2013, is a first-time winner, while the other Baton Rouge school, St. Aloysius Catholic School, is a second-time winner, last winning in 2015.
