Since the Israeli military launched a major raid in the northern Israel-occupied West Bank, thousands of Palestinians have been displaced from their homes in refugee camps in Jenin, Tulkarem and elsewhere.

Israel’s Gaza-ification of the West Bank, as some like Baker are calling it, involves destroying vital infrastructure, essential services such as water and electricity, raiding homes, preventing medics from reaching injured Palestinians, and attacking large crowds of residents in refugee camps.

The Israeli military also ramped up raids against Palestinian militants in the northern West Bank, and diverted its residents through seven new checkpoints, doubling Fauzi's time on the road. Now it's gotten worse.

Almost 90 percent of Jenin refugee camp’s population have been forced to flee their homes, with many seeking refuge in towns and villages across Jenin governorate.

As Israel presses ahead with a massive military operation targeting militants in the West Bank, it’s relying on tactics used in the war in Gaza. The result for Palestinians is a rising level of destruction and displacement.
