The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has sent a letter to its full membership about its upcoming Oscars ceremony on March 2 and how it will honor Los Angeles amid its wildfire crisis.

While some have called for the show to be postponed, Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. told Yahoo Entertainment that continuing was "important on a lot of levels."

Leading the pack is "Emilia Pérez" with 13 Oscar nominations, followed by "The Brutalist" and "Wicked" with 10 each.
