HP Hood LLC recalls select 96 oz LACTAID Milk containers due to potential almond contamination, posing a risk to those with nut allergies.

Lactaid milk is being recalled in 27 states due to trace amounts of almonds, a popular allergen, potentially being present. THe FDA issued the recall.

HP Hood LLC, the maker of Lactaid Milk, has recalled five SKUs of the beverage because there may be trace amounts of undeclared almonds. If someone has an almond allergy, they could have a life-threatening reaction if they drink the recalled milk, the Food and Drug Administration said.
