Joy Woods remain on the boards this fall, moving from Broadway's 'The Notebook' – in which she originated the role of Middle Allie — to join Audra McDonald in the highly anticipated revival of 'Gypsy.

The upcoming Broadway revival of Gypsy starring Audra McDonald has found its Louise and June: Joy Woods and Jordan Tyson will move over from the soon-to-close The Notebook in the two roles. Woods, who currently plays Middle Allie in The Notebook on Broadway,

Joy Woods will play Louise in the Broadway revival of Gypsy this fall.

Woods and Tyson are currently featured in “The Notebook” as Middle and Younger Allie, respectively. Woods made her Broadway debut replacing as Catherine Parr in “SIX” and also played Audrey in the Off-Broadway revival of “Little Shop of Horrors.” Tyson was seen as Kizette in the pre-Broadway mounting of “Lempicka” at La Jolla Playhouse.
