American tennis sensation Coco Gauff ended her season in style Saturday, rallying to defeat China’s Zheng Qinwen to win the WTA Finals in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Coco Gauff struck gold at this year’s WTA Finals in Saudi Arabia and had a hilarious reaction after learning how much she earned. “Okurrrr,” the 20-year-old casually proclaimed after being informed that she had a $4,805,000 payout coming her way following her week in Riyadh.

Gauff’s gritty play ultimately sealed her second major title, following her 2023 U.S. Open win, and marked her first significant achievement with her new coach, Matt Daly. Though she’s working to refine her serve and forehand, Gauff leaned into her core strengths—defense, footwork and patience—to win over Zheng.

Gauff improved to 5-4 against Sabalenka and ended a two-match losing streak including the Wuhan semifinals and the Australian Open semifinals. Sabalenka, who won the Australian Open and U.S. Open titles, ends the year at No. 1.
