Tottenham Hotspur picked up three vital points in Premier League action with a 3-1 victory over Brentford at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. It wasn't the start that Ange Postecoglou envisioned in the opening 30 seconds of the match.

Brentford did have a couple of late opportunities, none worse than after Guglielmo Vicario was caught in possession and coughed up the ball just in front of his own goal, but was able to recover and save the chance. Spurs went into the break up 2-1 and with the wind at their backs.

Harry Kane is no longer at Spurs but Son Heung-min remains a threat. The speed of Brennan Johnson and Wilson Odobert will cause problems for Arsenal’s full-backs, too. Solanke will make his home debut if he recovers from an ankle injury and scoring would be the perfect way to mark it.
