It does not appear the Seattle Seahawks will move on from quarterback Geno Smith, taking a veteran option for the Pittsburgh Steelers off the board. Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald had remained noncommital to Smith’s return at the end of the season but came out on Friday unequivocally declaring Smith as their quarterback.

While anything is possible, it does not appear that Russell Wilson will be back with the Steelers in 2025. Several reports have surfaced over the past month detailing Wilson's less than ideal working relationship with offensive coordinator Arthur Smith,
