Boeing said Monday it has raised its offer to the International Association of Machinists union in an effort to end the strike by 33,000 union members that has now entered its 11th day.

Amid a union strike over a pay dispute, Boeing has made what it describes as its "best and final offer" to roughly 33,000 striking union machinists, intensifying efforts to end the strike, which has entered its second week.

Boeing is proposing a 30 percent pay increase and doubling the signing bonus in a bid to end a strike by machinists that is in its second week.

Unite Here Local 274, which represents over 4,000 workers including cooks, servers, bartenders, dishwashers, concession workers, cleaners, retail workers and warehouse workers at Citizens Bank Park, the Wells Fargo Center and Lincoln Financial Field, announced the strike on September 22.

Some Phillies fans headed to Monday's game said they support striking Aramark workers who walked off the job at the three South Philly stadiums Monday.

Cooks, bartenders, and other food service workers will begin picketing outside Citizens Bank Park, the Wells Fargo Center, and Lincoln Financial Field Monday morning.
