A traffic collision was reported on southbound Interstate 5 in San Joaquin County on Friday evening. The crash was reported near the Peltier Road exit in Thornton around 7:40 p.m. A radio transmission from San Joaquin County sheriff's dispatch indicates reports of a pursuit before the crash occurred.

A courthouse in San Joaquin County will remain closed through Wednesday after receiving a threat, according to the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office. At 10:20 a.m., a threat was made to the San Joaquin County Superior Courthouse and was reported to the sheriff’s office dispatch team.
