Rohit Sharma led India to the T20 World Cup title in June earlier this year and announced his retirement from the format along with Virat Kohli, who played a knock of 76 runs in the final against South Africa in Bridgetown.

Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma managed just 91and 93 runs respectively against New Zealand in the recently-concluded Test series which India lost 0-3.
