Meta is banning Russia state media organization from its social media company platforms, alleging that the outlets used deceptive tactics to amplify Moscow’s propaganda.

Meta says it's banning Russian state media outlets from its platforms due to their foreign interference activities.

The ban follows U.S. sanctions against the media outlet for alleged attempts to interfere in foreign elections.

RT and other related entities are now banned from our apps globally for foreign interference activity,” Meta said
