The Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a recall notice on Thursday for more than 1 million Igloo coolers made in the United States due to the potential of fingertip amputation or crushing.

Igloo is recalling more than a million of its 90-Quart Flip & Tow Rolling Coolers over “fingertip amputation and crushing” risks posed by the product’s tow handle.

The tow handle can pinch consumers’ fingertips against the cooler, posing fingertip amputation and crushing hazards,” a notice says.
