In his latest column, former Olympian and heavyweight contender Frazer Clarke looks back on a week of chaos for Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn and the ramifications it will have on their fight in April.

Eubank Jr, 35, was referring to Benn’s failed drug tests in 2022, which derailed the boxers’ planned clash in October of that year. In 2023, the WBC claimed that “elevated consumption of eggs” was a “reasonable excuse” for Benn’s adverse results.

As the fallout from egg-gate continues, Eubank was forced to go though a security check before Thursday's press conference where he escalated his verbal attacks on Benn and promoter Eddie Hearn.
