He may not have a Most Valuable Player award like teammate Jose Altuve, but Alex Bregman has been one of the faces of the Houston Astros franchise since its historic stretch of AL West dominance began in 2017.

"We had some really good, productive conversations," Brown said earlier this month as he discussed talks with Scott Boras, the agent for star third baseman Alex Bregman. "We would love for Alex to come back. He's been really good here. He's been an outstanding part of the winning here in Houston."
