Vito Coppola has been awarded the title of Celebrity MasterChef Champion 2024, becoming the 19th person to lift the highly prized trophy on BBC One’s celebrity cooking competition.

But in a shock twist, John, 59, and Gregg, 59, decided to eliminate Harry from Celebrity MasterChef, a decision which angered viewers on social media.

Celebrity MasterChef aired its final semi-finals episode on Friday, with the five remaining famous faces revealed. Sadly, one person had to go, and judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace decided it was time for Tamer Hassan to hang up his apron.

Vito beat a total of 19 celebrities on Celebrity MasterChef this year, including Diane Carson from The Traitors, Love Island star Chloe Burrows, model and TV personality Christine McGuinness and Sugababes singer Mutya Buena.
