I'm trying to plan my summer trip down there: is there a shuttle or bus going to Delano from Chattanooga or does a person have to use an Uber or taxi to get there for the Hiwasse loop ride?
A:
My response echoes the others. No mass transportation to the depot. You may want to look into rental car prices so you can visit multiple attractions.

We do offer a ground pass to see all equipment in our grand junction train yard and visit our depot.

For Valentine's Day dinner or Dinner in the Diner, do you tip in addition to the advance ticket purchase?
A:
It is up to you. We tipped but I don’t think it is required or suggested.

Also plan on sitting in one of the coach cars (cheaper) Which seat are best? Middle of the car, or towards the end? TIA
A:
It doesn't really matter. If you sit at the back of the train you get a longer ride...tee hee chuckle chuckle!
