Truly enjoyed our hike along the Enclosure Loop Trail - great views of three waterfalls. Loved how well maintained the entire park was and how they clearly marked the trails for easy navigation. Full review by TravelBug0621

We have been hopping around Mid-TN going to different campgrounds for several years now. Old Fort was a nice spot to call home for a week. Go with the knowledge that there is not full-hook up's ava… Full review by Julie H

Interesting history and beautiful waterfalls. We spent about 3 hours hiking around the park. Most of the trails are easy but some of the rock is slippery and challenging. Full review by Dennis A

There are many hiking trials, but no bike trials at Old Stone Fort State Archaeological Park.

How to get to the Machine Falls? Will it be a long hike?
A:
It is not a long hike to Machine Falls. As you leave the Visitors Center take the trail to the right and the falls will be less than 1/4 mile.

Where is the easiest place to get to to swim?
A:
Didn’t see anyone swimming here. At the halfway point of the trail there are falls. I would go in downstream of the falls.
